What you’ll be doing as Kitchen Manager? Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be required to oversee the day-to-day activities of the kitchen. You will be knowledgeable about all the dishes on our menu and be able to turn out mouth-watering dishes with ease, within all sections of the kitchen. You will enjoy delivering excellent standards always, in a friendly and supportive environment. A leader and mentor to your brigade, you will also be passionate about their training and continued development. With overall responsibility for the kitchen, you will:
- Make sure all of your team are committed and able to consistently deliver on spec dishes.
- Manage the rota for your team, looking after them to ensure a good work/life balance.
- Implement health and safety processes and maintain a 5-star rating for food hygiene.
- Achieve GP targets for the site, as well as managing stock and labour costs.
