We are working with a leading part of a global multi-disciplinary consultancy group, who are looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator to join their growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and proactive BIM professional with 3–5 years’ experience to take a key role in delivering high-quality architectural and multi-disciplinary projects, while helping shape BIM standards and capability across the studio.
The Role
As BIM Coordinator, you will support project teams in the effective use of BIM processes and digital delivery across a range of live projects. You will play a central role in maintaining technical quality, coordination, and consistency, while also supporting the development of best practice across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of BIM-enabled projects across all RIBA stages
- Coordinating multi-disciplinary models and managing information quality
- Maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and digital delivery protocols
- Assisting project teams with technical support, troubleshooting, and training
- Monitoring model development, compliance, and coordination outputs
- Reporting on model progress, quality, and coordination issues
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and BIM representatives
- Supporting clash detection, federation, audits, and model reviews
What we’re looking for:
- RIBA Part 1 / CIAT-accredited Architectural Technology degree (or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a BIM / CAD coordination role within practice
- Strong technical understanding of architectural design and delivery processes
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
- Experience with COBie, Uniclass, and metadata integration
- Familiarity with statutory requirements, QA processes, and H&S considerations
- Experience supporting coordination, federation, and clash detection
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across disciplines and teams
- Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within a collaborative environment
