Their current project portfolio includes a number of high-profile schemes across sectors such as major sports and leisure venues, large-scale public infrastructure, transport hubs, and secure government-related facilities. Due to sustained growth, the business is seeking to strengthen its engineering team with high-calibre professionals at Principal, Senior, and Project Engineer level. Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with clients to help define project requirements, influence technical outcomes, and present engineering solutions.
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary design teams to develop protective and resilience-led design strategies.
- Delivering retained and novated design duties on design-and-build projects, including outline and detailed performance specifications, compliance monitoring, and site attendance.
- Supporting contractors across multiple tiers to ensure construction activities comply with project specifications.
- Collaborating with manufacturers to assist in the design and development of new products.
- Managing project workloads to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to a high technical standard.
- Undertaking and supervising detailed engineering analysis using linear and non-linear methods, including hand calculations, finite element analysis, and computational fluid dynamics.
- Completing vehicle dynamics assessments to support the specification and design of hostile vehicle mitigation measures.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers (Senior/Principal level).
- Contributing to the wider technical leadership and, at Principal level, the senior management team.
