Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Cost Management team, supporting the delivery of a diverse range of projects across the public and private sectors. The Role
- Working alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors and Project Managers, you will support the delivery of a full range of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied portfolio of construction projects.
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and tender documentation.
- Measurement and valuation of construction works.
- Producing cost reports, financial forecasts and commercial updates.
- Assessing variations and supporting final account negotiations.
- Supporting procurement and contract administration activities.
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
- Liaising directly with clients, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Working across projects using JCT and NEC forms of contract.
- Taking responsibility for key aspects of project delivery.
- Supporting fee bids, case studies and business development activities.
About You
- A RICS-accredited Quantity Surveying degree.
- Experience delivering or supporting pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
- Experience preparing cost plans, estimates and cost reports.
- Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
- Commitment to achieving or progressing towards MRICS status.
- Assistant Quantity Surveyors with relevant consultancy experience and a desire to progress are encouraged to apply.
