Alfred Recruitment are currently partnered with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Cardiff. They now have an opportunity to expand their Civil Engineering leadership team by bringing on a new Principal Civil Engineer. This will be a fantastic role for somebody who is looking to take the lead on major developments around Cardiff and South Wales, and who is looking for excellent personal development opportunity.

My client is looking for somebody who is enthusiastic and passionate about what they do and the projects they spearhead. As you will be working closely with the Associate Director of Drainage Infrastructure and helping to lead their dedicated team of engineers. This team takes on varied, yet challenging projects across the infrastructure sector with a strong focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage. If you want to be part of a team that takes great pride in the work they do and to make a profound impact on your local area, this is a perfect role to consider.

  • 7+ years’ of Drainage Engineering experience, including SUDS & Flood Risk
  • A Civil Engineering Degree
  • Experience using ideally MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Autodesk ICM
  • Water Authority statutory approval processes such as S104, S106 & SuDS Approval Body approval
  • Awareness of National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements relating to flood risk management
  • Strong project management and project delivery experience
  • Agile & flexible working arrangement
