We’re supporting a client seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support the successful delivery of capital projects from construction through to final handover. This is a hands-on, site-based role working across multiple operational sites, ensuring assets are commissioned safely, compliantly, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support pre-commissioning & commissioning activities through to operational handover
- Review contractor commissioning plans, RAMS & technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
- Resolve site-based technical issues and support Project Managers with delivery targets
- Attend FATs & SATs where required
- Support plant testing, sign-off & performance verification
- Ensure commissioning and close-out documentation is accurate and complete
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews & technical investigations
About You
- Degree-qualified Engineer (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years’ industrial experience, ideally with an Electrical or ICA bias
- Strong commissioning and project delivery experience
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Devon & Cornwall, Bristol
- Process industry experience desirable
