Site-based across South West

Salary £52,000 plus excellent Benefits

We’re supporting a client seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support the successful delivery of capital projects from construction through to final handover. This is a hands-on, site-based role working across multiple operational sites, ensuring assets are commissioned safely, compliantly, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support pre-commissioning & commissioning activities through to operational handover
  • Review contractor commissioning plans, RAMS & technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
  • Resolve site-based technical issues and support Project Managers with delivery targets
  • Attend FATs & SATs where required
  • Support plant testing, sign-off & performance verification
  • Ensure commissioning and close-out documentation is accurate and complete
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews & technical investigations

About You

  • Degree-qualified Engineer (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years’ industrial experience, ideally with an Electrical or ICA bias
  • Strong commissioning and project delivery experience
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Devon & Cornwall, Bristol
  • Process industry experience desirable
