Alfred Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, design-led architectural practice in their search for a talented Architect to join their Birmingham studio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded Architect to take on a key project-running role, leading schemes from concept through to completion while working closely with senior leadership.

The Role

You will play a central role within the practice, typically leading on a primary project while supporting others in development. Responsibilities will include:

  • Running projects across all RIBA stages, with a strong focus on delivery
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Coordinating design teams and chairing meetings
  • Leading on-site activity including contract administration and reporting
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing to design development and technical detailing

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines design awareness with strong technical and delivery capability:

  • ARB-registered Architect (RIBA Parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a job-running / Project Architect role
  • Strong knowledge of RIBA work stages and UK construction processes
  • Confident in client-facing situations and leading teams
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
