Architect / Architectural Technician - Northampton
An established and well-respected architectural practice is looking to appoint either an Architect or Architectural Technician/Technologist with around 3+ years’ industry experience to join their friendly and collaborative team.
The practice delivers a diverse range of residential, education, commercial and community projects and has built an excellent reputation for technical delivery, client relationships and high‑quality project execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to further develop their career within a supportive environment, gaining exposure across all project stages and sectors.
The Role
You will support the delivery of projects across residential, educational, commercial and community sectors, working closely with senior staff and clients from planning through to technical delivery and construction information.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects as they continue to grow within the business.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the delivery of projects across multiple sectors
- Producing planning, technical and construction drawing packages
- Supporting planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
- Liaising with consultants, clients and contractors
- Assisting with project coordination and technical detailing
- Working across AutoCAD and potentially Revit environments
- Supporting projects through all RIBA stages
Requirements
- Architect, Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist
- Approximately 3+ years’ industry experience
- Strong technical understanding and construction knowledgeExperience producing planning and technical drawing packages
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Motivated individual looking to progress within a growing practice
