This is a dedicated opportunity for a bright, driven graduate to build a specialist, long-term career within our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. Unlike a general rotational program, this role offers a deep-dive into the world of Risk and Insurance from day one. You will be part of an evolving department that has grown significantly over the last five years and now sits at the very heart of AHK’s global decision-making process.
DEVELOPMENT & MENTORSHIP
Based at our UK Global Headquarters in Prescot, Liverpool, you will benefit from a structured development pathway tailored specifically to the Risk & Compliance landscape. While this is a permanent, dedicated role within the team, you will receive:
- Direct Mentorship: Daily guidance from our senior GRC professionals and leadership team.
- Professional Qualifications: Full support and funding to obtain industry-recognized Risk and Insurance qualifications.
- Specialist Exposure: Hands-on involvement in Insurance management, Enterprise and Travel Risk, Business Resilience, and our global ESG initiatives.
ABOUT THE RISK & COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT
You would be part of a highly motivated and innovative team that helps reduce and redirect potential financial, client and marketplace, service delivery, people and compliance impacts. This is achieved by creating frameworks, developing policies, and collaborating with our colleagues as well as external brokers and insurers to source risk transfer or reduction solutions as needed. You would work with our global network of colleagues to review, challenge, transfer, and mitigate risks appropriately. Identifying, assessing, and ultimately managing our risks is fundamental to our business to improve the likelihood of meeting and continuing the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the management of a group-wide project to implement and maintain insurance cover standards.
- Assisting with the procurement of broker services and insurance across the group.
- Supporting the Risk team to identify potential risk transfer opportunities.
- Maintaining risk registers and participating in risk workshops.
- Supporting initiatives such as Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Travel Risk Management.
Required Qualifications
- 2:1 degree in any subject.
Required Languages
- English (essential). Other languages are advantageous (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, French).
Travel Requirements
- Travel as required both domestically and potentially internationally.
- Must have a valid driving licence due to the location of some of our offices.
- Must have a valid passport and the ability to obtain visas.
