Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment and Onboarding Apprentice to join our People Team in Prescot. This role is designed for an ambitious individual looking to master the foundations of hiring and talent coordination, providing the perfect stepping stone for a long-term career in the wider People profession.
You will start your journey fully embedded within our recruitment and onboarding team. Your day to day will be fast paced and hands-on, focusing on how we attract, interview and successfully integrate new talent into the business while you work towards your level 3 Recruitment qualification over an 18 month period. Following successful completion of your initial apprenticeship, there is the potential opportunity to earn a fast-track pathway into our general People Team. For candidates who demonstrate the right professional mindset and skills, this next step includes a fully funded CIPD Level 3 apprenticeship.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
- Basic Digital Literacy: Familiarity with standard office software (such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and an ability to learn digital HR/recruitment platforms.

Required Work Experience
While prior office, HR, or recruitment experience is not required, you must have some professional work history (such as hospitality, retail, customer service, or a consistent part-time job).
Required Qualifications
GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills).
Travel
Some occasional UK or global travel may be required with advanced notice.
