Role Overview

  • Shape Global Change: partner with our business to lead analysis across key IT and business change initiatives, helping to define complex problems and design effective technology solutions.
  • Mentor and Support: act as a coach and mentor to other Business Analysts within the team, helping to uplift our collective capabilities, templates, and overall ways of working.
  • Collaborate Across the Business: build strong relationships and work closely with senior business leaders, technical delivery teams, IT Business Partners, and third-party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Full Lifecycle Delivery: take ownership from early discovery, workshop facilitation and requirement mapping right through to supporting UAT, business readiness and post-go-live implementation.
  • Business Analysis Methodologies: apply BA methods, tools and techniques across both waterfall and agile delivery environments.
  • Full Lifecycle Delivery: demonstrate understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, solution design, testing, UAT and deployment.
  • Process & Data Analysis: execute process modelling, gap analysis, data flows and identify system integration points.
  • Technical Collaboration: work effectively alongside technical teams, including architects, developers, data engineers and cyber/security specialists.
  • Constructive Challenge: engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels to ensure requirements and assumptions are clear and aligned with business outcomes.
  • Expert Facilitation: lead workshops and interview sessions to gather requirements and review solutions.
  • Proactive Ownership: use a self-managing, delivery-focused approach to drive work forward with minimal supervision.

Required Work Experience

  • Substantial experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within an IT, digital transformation or business change environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to define business problems, objectives and success measures.
  • End-to-end delivery experience, including producing high-quality documentation (user stories, process maps, gap analysis) and coordinating UAT phases with business users.
  • Peer development experience through coaching or mentoring of other analysts.
  • Education: degree level or equivalent preferred but not essential.
  • BCS Business Analysis certifications are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to UK and overseas sites.
