Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver apprenticeship standards as part of our self-provider provision. The main purpose of this role is to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality training to apprentices, ensuring compliance with all funding and quality requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in teaching, training, or assessing who wants to play a key role in shaping learners\\\’ futures.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and inclusive training, coaching, and assessments, supporting apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to succeed.
- Tailor learning sessions to individual needs and employer requirements, tracking progress and providing feedback to ensure apprentices achieve timely success.
- Prepare apprentices for their End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure all gateway requirements are met.
- Maintain strong collaborative partnerships with colleagues and senior leaders.
- Keep up to date with professional knowledge and undertake continuous professional development (CPD) to meet regulatory and sector requirements.
Required Knowledge and Work Experience
- Experience delivering apprenticeships or vocational training.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills for effective lesson planning, marking, and classroom management.
- Proficiency in using a range of IT tools for teaching and administration.
- The ability to link bespoke concepts to real-world applications and current events.
- Passion for education and student development.
- A genuine enthusiasm for training that inspires and motivates students.

- Experience with Ofsted inspections and ESFA audit requirements is desirable.
- Knowledge of e-portfolio and learner management systems is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- A recognized teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1, CAVA, TAQA, PTLLS/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE, or equivalent).
