Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Cargo Superintendent to join our team in Immingham. Your main focus will be to oversee the discharge (or loading) of cargoes, monitoring/auditing client storage locations and working as part of the Drax contract team to undertake cargo sampling (both mechanical and manual) and sample preparation duties.
Shift Pattern: 12 hour shift system basis working a mix of days and nights.

- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly inform others

- Strong relationship building skills internally and externally
- Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities
- Experience of working in shipping/ports
- Valid Clean UK Driving Licence
Travel: Travel may be required to work between various AHK locations to support the business needs. You must be prepared to work in other locations with overnight stays where necessary.
