About the Role
Our clients, a commercial practice who specialise in the property and corporate sectors, have asked us to find them a highly experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join their firm. You will lead the firm’s commercial litigation practice, working collaboratively with the Property Litigation Partner and their team, while maintaining a distinct focus on non-property commercial disputes. The role combines hands-on fee-earning with the supervision of a small yet busy team of solicitors and support staff, alongside a strategic remit to drive the continued growth of the practice. The work will encompass a broad range of matters including shareholder and partnership disputes, company and contractual disputes, debt and asset recovery, professional negligence claims, insolvency-related litigation, and freezing orders and injunctions.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will need at least 12 years’ PQE, ideally 12–15 years, having spent the majority of their career practising commercial or general litigation within a small to mid-sized law firm. While an existing following is desirable, it is not essential provided the candidate can demonstrate effective business development skills, enthusiasm for generating new work, and clear leadership and supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and sound commercial judgement are essential for success in this role.
On Offer
On offer is a competitive salary and the opportunity to join a busy practice that has seen significant organic growth over the years. Career development opportunities are available to the right candidate.
