Our client, a highly esteemed Holborn firm with a legacy spanning over 300 years and voted as Times best law firms, is seeking a NQ+ Litigation Solicitor with contentious Trust & Probate and Property Litigation experience to join their growing dispute resolution team.
This partner-led team are known for their composure and strategic thinking and handle a wide array of civil disputes, including contentious trusts and probate, commercial conflicts, property disputes, professional negligence claims, and charity-related disagreements. You will advise and act for clients on litigation matters by conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating key documents, providing strategic advice, managing client communications, and representing them in court and mediation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling a broad range of civil disputes, including contentious trusts & probate, property disputes, and related litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft and negotiate key documents, and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Manage client communications and representation in court and mediation sessions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Solicitor between NQ and 2 years PQE with exposure to a range of litigation matters.
- Trained with a national law firm or City practice.
- Solid background in contentious trusts & probate and property; willingness to advise on other disputes such as Court of Protection, art & cultural property, commercial, construction disputes, or other matters as they arise.
