Hotel Services are offering exciting opportunities to work within a vibrant and busy department. We are looking for motivated people who have the ability to work as both part of a team and individually and who will be willing to work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the department.
Shifts Available:
- Monday - Friday 10.00-18.00
- Monday - Friday 12.00-20.00
- Monday - Friday 14.00-22.00
- Thursday - Friday 22.00-06.00
Main duties of the job:
As a valued member of the Hotel Services team you will provide a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors and staff. To ensure the highest possible standard of cleanliness is achieved and complying with the National Standards of Cleanliness, and the local Infection Control Policy within given areas to minimise the risk of cross infection for staff, patients and members of the public within Trust premises.

Job responsibilities:
To perform cleaning and other associated tasks in any ward, department, operating theatre, laboratory, corridor, catering area, office or residential accommodation as required and shall include all or any of the under mentioned tasks, which may include working as a team member.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
Knowledge – Essential: Literate - basic education
Desirable: Understanding of infection control in relation to cleanliness; Understanding of Health and Safety; Knowledge of COSHH
Skills – Essential: Good communication skills, must be able to communicate with other members of Trust staff; Good writing skills
Desirable: Previous use of cleaning machines and chemicals
Experience – Desirable: Previous Domestic experience
Qualifications – Desirable: NVQ / City and Guilds Qualifications
