Be the focal point for control of infection, quality and governance issues within the dental nursing team linking with Directorate Clinical Specialty Leads, consultants, Trust-wide and Directorate governance and safety processes; in doing so ensure that delivered care is of the highest standard.
To facilitate the professional development of registered dental nurses and apprentice dental nurses within the dental directorate. Organise and co-ordinate work experience programmes within the Dental Directorate.
