About the Job

As our new Project Execution Engineer in the Ocean Division, you’ll take ownership of customer projects from kick‑off to start‑up. You’ll be the key link between engineering, supply chain, service, and our customers — planning, coordinating, securing resources, and managing cost and schedule to ensure safe and timely delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and control the cost to avoid deviation.
  • Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Identify, develop, and gather the resources necessary to complete the project.
  • Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (for example engineering, technical) to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
  • Select and manage the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Project supervise on site and participation on commissioning and start up together with internal or external service engineer.
  • Trouble shooting management during warranty period.

This position is based in one of our Nordic Sites located in Oslo, Espoo, Søborg, Kolding, Lund or Flemingsberg.

What You Know

To succeed in this role, we believe you hold:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Automation) or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience delivering capital/industrial projects end‑to‑end (planning, cost, schedule, risk, stakeholder management).
  • Hands‑on experience with site supervision, commissioning, and start‑up.
  • Strong commercial awareness: contracts, change management, and cost control.
  • Experience from the marine industry and familiarity with class society requirements are advantages.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in any of the other Scandinavian languages—Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, or Swedish—is preferred.
