This role will lead the Energy Business Unit (BU) Process Team within the Energy Division. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and implementing the process sales growth strategies. It will require driving change into a highly proactive sales driven team. You will take responsibility for the teams’ target setting, sales planning, sales activity, sales results and following up the business activity for the defined market areas in focus. You will need to collaborate with all sales support functions to deliver a continuously improved customer satisfaction and high sales growth for the Energy Division. You will play a key role in the success of Energy Division’s profitability and growth, and you are expected to be a valued contributor in the divisions management team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop & implement sales strategies of BU Process Capital Sales in accordance with the overall Sales Company Strategy.
- Lead the business planning for the BU using market, customer and competitor analysis and understanding.
- Stay knowledgeable, build fruitful relationships, and keep updated in focused market areas.
- Identify new business potentials in line with set strategies and business planning.
- Lead the BU team with clear roles and responsibilities to ensure time and competencies are used optimally.
- Set team and individual targets and secure the follow up through a structured approach using available tools.
- Drive the use and importance of keeping up to date OneCRM, OneIB and other applicable tools in order to nurture transparency, synergy and the importance of being data driven in our ways of working and decision making.
- Take responsibility for the team’s sales development and delivery of quotations including timeliness and quality.
- Support the team in customer meetings and in direct customer communications.
- Assess and develop the team through their employment including the existing personal development and talent review processes.
- Establish and keep close contact and cooperation with the sales support teams and the central BUs.
- As a member of the division management team, you will actively contribute to strategies and initiatives to support the success of the division.
Who you are:
You have fantastic communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships. You have proven leadership skills, having managed individuals or teams successfully in the past. You use business acumen to deliver sales results and drive to inspire and motivate the team to further success.
What you know:
You have a degree in Engineering and relevant sales and business training or experience. You have experience within the Energy industry in Process Capital Sales ideally within thermal and/or separation product technologies. You have a full driving license and live within commutable distance to our Head Office, currently based in Camberley, Surrey as this role will be predominantly office based.
