As our new Account Manager Ocean Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys the challenge of building lasting relationships. This is an office-based role in Camberley operating on a 3 days in office 2 days hybrid model.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promote and sell Alfa Laval products.
- Generate and nurture leads, converting them into orders.
- Engage actively with the market, focusing on inside customer interactions (including some visits), understanding customer needs, and delivering product and service value.
- Develop technical and value-based quotes that reflect customer needs and highlight unique selling points.
- Actively follow up on quotes to ensure the proposed value is understood and matches customer needs.
- Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process.
- Work proactively and in a structured manner within and across teams to optimize sales efficiency.
- Use CRM and other tools consistently and effectively to support the sales process and decision-making.
- Support bid preparation and submission for government and Navy projects.

What You Know
To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:
- Ability to achieve BPSS security clearance.
- Proficient in commercial contract management and understanding.
- Experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication tools.
- Understanding of technical products and ability to translate customer needs into value-based solutions.
- Aware of market trends and competitor activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve sales goals.
- Technical education, such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field would be a benefit.
