We are looking for a person to fill our Inside Sales - Service position who shall have responsibility and accountability for developing Sales to our Service customers across Canada. The role works as part of our Way to Market strategy with customers that we have decided to have a direct relationship with and occasionally working alongside field sales and channels to deliver a superior customer experience.
Duties of the role:- Communicates with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources (exchange in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail).
- Follows established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services.
- Investigate and identify parts/products needed by customer.
- Actively follow up transactional quotes and opportunities.
- Proactive looking for upselling opportunities.
- Actively follow up the quote in order to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it is matching the customer needs.
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process.
- Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts.
- Maintains attention to detail in completing work tasks.
- Works independently, guides oneself with little or no supervision.
- Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others with the ability to convey information effectively.
- Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration: Degree or technologist.
- Type and Length of Experience: 2 years of practical experience.
- Familiarity with process equipment including mechanical and automation aspects – experience with separation, heat transfer or fluid handling equipment is an asset.
- You are proficient to read drawings, technical information, and data sheets.
- You have experience reviewing complex customer requirements, contract requirements and commercial terms/conditions.
- You are an effective problem solver, a self-starter, detail oriented, service minded and are equally comfortable working independently or within a team.
- You must demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication, can juggle multiple priorities, and are well-organized.
- You are fluent in English and French.
- You are proficient in the use of computers; experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM systems is a definite asset.
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - 85,000 CAD annually, based on experience and role alignment. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.
Bonus OpportunityThis position is eligible for a target bonus of up to 20% of annual base salary depending on experience, awarded based on the achievement of company performance metrics. Actual bonus amounts are contingent on annual business results and may vary accordingly.
