A multi-national, Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software vendor based in London is actively seeking a Project Manager to join a leading BI / CPM Vendor.
As a Project Manager you will be instrumental to the successful delivery of a broad and varied portfolio of projects, your remit will be to underpin all project activity via an excellent understanding of process, documentation, management and communication.
Reporting to the Product Director, your main responsibilities as Project Manager will include:
- Managing the entire project lifecycle from definition/scope through implementation
- Managing multiple simultaneous projects with different clients
- Performing all project management activities for several projects including:
- Creating and managing complex project plans.
- Project administration and documentation
- Allocating and managing project resource
- Co-ordinating, attending and facilitating project and steering meetings
- Ensuring that project actions/risks/issues are effectively handled to time
- Liaising with internal and client staff at all levels including project stakeholders.
Necessary skills and experience for Project Manager role:
- Bachelors Degree (minimum 2:1)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMI Project Management Professional with practical experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Ideally have 2 years’ experience in a PMO environment
- Have experience of the project framework and associated project governance.
- Be exceptional at building strong, long-lasting relationships - both internally and externally
- Have excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Motivated, determined, self-starter.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work against very tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
