A multi-national, Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software vendor based in London is seeking a highly talented, dynamic, results-focused Marketing Operations Executive to join our fast growing company in the UK team.
As a Marketing Operations Executive, you will work to create and manage scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation, database management and maximising and improving marketing campaign efficiency. You will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to make informed strategic decisions within the company. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.
This role is split into three distinct functions: technology, data, and alignment.
- Technology: Here you would be managing marketing automation systems and marketing technology systems, and other solutions used by the marketing and sales team to do their jobs effectively. At BOARD this would involve Marketo, Salesforce and CSA (our own BOARD tool).
- Data: This relates to consumption and understanding of the data that technology creates. For example, making sure marketing automation data is being properly collected and connected with other systems such as a CRM. You would be fully responsible for data management and lead management; you will be the go-to person for all data enquiries internally.
- Alignment: This is related to usage of the data and technology by others on the marketing and sales team, such as aligning the sales and marketing teams with the tools, training of new employees or communicating and updating when there are tool updates.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the marketing and sales tools for the UK (Salesforce, Marketo and CSA).
- Owner of customer, user and lead data for the Marketing and Sales team, responsible for data integrity and cleanliness.
- Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
- Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
- Support marketing managers with creating and maintaining metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
- Support marketing managers with analysing marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimisation.
- Work with the corporate team on tool roll out to the UK and feedback on new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimise tools that you discover.
Requirements:
- BA or BS degree in business/accounting or related field.
- 18 months of experience in a related Marketing, Sales, Operations or finance role.
- Proficiency in marketing automation systems (Marketo and Salesforce).
- Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel).
- Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
