We are seeking a Non-Executive Director to join our Board and to chair the Audit and Risk Committee. As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in providing independent oversight and guidance, working closely with our founder Executive Chairman, our CEO, CFO and other board members.
Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our strategic vision, enhancing shareholder value, and maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance. As Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee you will lead the Board’s oversight of financial reporting, internal control and risk management and audit.
What we’re looking for:
- Financial qualifications and experience : A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who has served as Chief Financial Officer or Finance Director, or as an audit partner, within the last five years.
- Collaborative Mindset : Ability to work effectively with other board members, valuing diverse perspectives and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Integrity and Independence : Demonstrates high ethical standards and the ability to provide independent judgment.
- Effective Communicator : Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Adaptability : Comfortable navigating a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.
- Strategic Acumen : Proven ability to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at a senior level.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret complex financial information with experience in financial reporting for public companies.
- Proven track record of strategic leadership and board experience in publicly listed companies.
- Prior experience as a Non-Executive Director and audit committee member in a listed environment.
- Strong financial acumen and regulatory knowledge including recent and relevant financial experience.
- Extensive leadership experience within the financial services industry
- Deep understanding of financial technology.
- Deep understanding of the software industry including financial reporting for software and SaaS businesses.
- Deep understanding of software delivery as part of complex business change projects.
- Deep understanding of people leadership within software, systems integration consultancy or professional services.
- Experience of chairing an Audit Committee.
