Overview

As Director of Product, you will lead Alfa’s Product function and shape the vision for Alfa Systems, the central platform for large asset finance businesses.

You will translate market and customer needs into a prioritised roadmap, balance growth with platform quality, and own the product investment backlog.

You’ll mentor Product Owners and represent the product direction to customers and industry events.

This role combines strategic influence with hands-on collaboration across Engineering, Strategy and Revenue to deliver customer value at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision for Alfa Systems
  • Develop and prioritise the investment roadmap balancing growth, market opportunities, client needs and platform quality
  • Own the product backlog and KPIs, ensuring delivery aligns with strategy
  • Lead, develop and coach Product Owners and product leaders across the business
  • Engage with customers and industry to share roadmap and gather feedback
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Delivery, Strategy and Revenue to build cross-functional alignment
  • Manage Product budget and resourcing; foster evidence-based decision-making and constructive challenge
  • Shape platform strategy through AI, automation and data-driven capabilities and guide buy-versus-build decisions
  • Collaborate on partnerships and integrations to extend the platform
  • Represent Alfa’s product direction at events and Alfa Connect
