Inclusion is the beating heart of Alfa so whoever you are, you can show up as your best self every day - be that from home, from our offices, or a little bit of both. We've got the tech, we've got the opportunities, all we're missing is you.

We're looking for a Director of Markets to lead the team that acts as the voice of the market inside Alfa - shaping how we win in the global auto and equipment finance industry.

What we'll do together

You'll lead Alfa's Markets function, building and leading a team of Market Leads and analysts who act as the voice of the market inside Alfa. Through a deep understanding of customer needs, competitive positioning, regulatory change and industry trends, you'll make sure our commercial, product and strategic direction stays aligned to real market opportunities. You'll own our market-level go-to-market strategies and propositions, support major sales opportunities with strategic guidance and executive-level engagement, and act as a senior external voice for Alfa with customers, prospects, industry bodies and analysts - including a leading role in shaping the content and themes at Alfa Connect, our flagship client event.

How we'll work together

You'll be a key member of our Revenue leadership team, working closely with Product, Strategy, Delivery, Partnering and Marketing so that market insight shapes everything from product roadmaps to campaign planning. You'll lead, coach and develop the Markets team, building a collaborative, inclusive and externally-focused culture that reflects our values of working together, listening and constructive challenge.

The tools we'll use

Your real toolkit is market intelligence: customer and competitor insight, regulatory tracking and structured strategic thinking, backed up by close partnership with our Revenue, Product and Strategy teams and the platforms they use to plan, track and measure progress against our commercial goals.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Significant experience in a senior market strategy, commercial leadership, product marketing, industry practice leadership or consulting role within enterprise software
  • A strong understanding of regulated financial services markets - ideally automotive, equipment or commercial finance, or an adjacent sector
  • A track record of defining and executing go-to-market strategies for complex B2B software products and services
  • Experience leading and developing senior, highly skilled teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience supporting revenue growth, market expansion and strategic planning
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging executive stakeholders, customers and prospects
  • A history of representing organisations externally through industry forums, conferences or customer engagements
  • An understanding of AI, automation and the emerging technologies reshaping financial services

What we'll do for you

  • 27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and flexible cultural days
  • Pension contribution match up to 6%
  • Your choice of a Windows or Mac laptop
  • Private health insurance and access to a private GP
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave with family-friendly policies
  • Income protection
  • Life, disability and worldwide travel insurance
  • Interest-free loans of up to 10,000 after probation
  • Wellhub access to gyms, classes and wellbeing apps
  • Support pursuing membership of professional bodies
  • 5 days per year for conferences or training
  • 3 paid days of volunteering per year
