Our client is one of the UK’s leading HV contractors delivering solutions to the UK power market – transformer station, substation, transmission and distribution networks. Having secured a significant order intake they are seeking an experienced Operations Leader to enhance their team.

The Role

• Reporting to the UK Managing Director you will have total responsibility for an existing team of project managers and multiple project delivery, ensuring quality and HSE compliance (essential).
• You will be the key interface with their project delivery and the Board, will ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Will develop a Project delivery team that will be recognised as the “the ones to beat”.
• Will be experienced in managing an Operation P&L.

The Person

• Ideally engineering degree qualified you will have a minimum of 10 years power sector overhead line experience in the UK or at an international location.
• An exceptional Operational Leader you will be comfortable leading project managers and liaising with a demanding client base.
• Will be looking to move to a Managing Director role within a given period of time.
