You will be looking after two great kids—a 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl—collecting them from their local school and keeping them engaged, safe, and happy until their parents return from work.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect the children from school in the afternoon and walk them safely to their home in Camden.
- Plan and enjoy fun, age‑appropriate activities, such as trips to the local park, reading, baking, and playing board games.
- Assist with simple homework tasks and offer gentle encouragement with their learning.
- Prepare basic, nutritious after‑school snacks and simple meals for the children.
- Create a warm, safe, and supportive home environment until the parents finish work around 6:00 pm.
Required Skills & Experience
- A genuine passion for working with children and a warm, positive attitude.
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Great communication skills to keep in touch with parents about the afternoon's activities.
- Good organizational skills to manage school pickups, snack times, and play seamlessly.
