ALF are proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, innovative Financial Services organisation committed to improving access, inclusion, and customer outcomes through smart, technology-led solutions. They have an exciting opportunity for a Fraud Investigator to join a specialist Financial crime team. You will play a key role in protecting customers and the business by identifying, investigating, and preventing fraud and wider financial crime activity. Working with advanced systems and tools to detect suspicious activity, investigate trends, and take action to minimise risk and financial loss.

Monday – Friday (with occasional weekend work), 1 day in the office per week and some flexibility on hours worked.

Role:

  • Reporting to the Financial Crime Team Leader, you will be responsible for the protection of Customers and the Business through identifying, investigating, and preventing Fraud and wider Financial Crime Activity.
  • Investigating Potential Financial Crime Cases – including Card Fraud, Transactional Anomalies, and Identity Fraud
  • Monitor Alerts & Identify Patterns of Suspicious Behaviour
  • Conduct Customer & Internal Investigations
  • Prepare Reports & Support Regulatory and Industry Reporting Requirements
  • Support awareness of Fraud trends across the business
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Financial Crime Risks, Trends, and Regulations

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in Financial Crime, Fraud Investigation, or a similar role within Financial Services
  • Must have strong experience across Card Fraud
  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to Identify Trends & Anomalies
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience working within Fintech banking would be beneficial
