A growing residential property developer and investor is seeking a Finance Associate to take ownership of debt application, case management, and funding processes across its expanding North West portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business in a high-growth phase, where you’ll play a central role in managing lender relationships, progressing funding cases, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple live and pipeline developments.

The Role

You’ll act as the go-to person for all debt-related activity, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of funding cases while building and refining the internal processes that support them. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role with real ownership from day one.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full debt application lifecycle, from initial submission through to credit approval, legal process, and drawdown
  • Owning case management across multiple SPVs, ensuring each funding line progresses efficiently and on time
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for lenders, solicitors, and brokers—driving applications forward and resolving queries
  • Monitoring and managing conditions precedent, covenants (ICR, LTV), and reporting deadlines, ensuring full compliance
  • Producing and maintaining a live loan book and case tracker, giving clear visibility on application status, funding stages, and key risks
  • Coordinating documentation, including facility agreements, supporting information, and due diligence requirements
  • Supporting the refinement of debt processes, systems, and trackers to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial data and appraisals align with funding requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance, banking, or property finance
  • Strong exposure to debt applications, case management, or lending processes
  • Experience dealing with lenders, brokers, or legal processes (highly desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build and manage trackers and reporting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live cases simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, particularly when handling external stakeholders
