ALF Recruit are delighted to be exclusively supporting a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in their search for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Assistant. This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts for a range of clients
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Reconciling ledgers and accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting payroll processing when required
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts preparation
- Supporting senior accountants with client reporting and queries
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures

About You
- 1–2 years’ experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Experience within an accountancy practice environment would be advantageous
