Our client, a modern and forward-thinking legal firm, is looking to strengthen its residential property team with the appointment of a Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer. This role has arisen due to continued growth, and the successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the future of the residential property service.
This is a client-facing, caseload-led role suited to someone who enjoys ownership and autonomy managing your own matters from instruction through to post-completion, and building strong relationships with clients, agents and lenders along the way.

Role
- Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, from instruction through to post-completion
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, leasehold documentation, reports to lenders/clients and completion statements
- Carrying out title reviews, due diligence and searches in line with best practice and lender requirements
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors/conveyancers to progress transactions smoothly
- Providing clear, commercially aware legal advice tailored to each client
- Supporting business development opportunities where relevant
What you will be doing
- Qualified Solicitor with 1-2 years PQE in residential property, or a Licensed Conveyancer
- Proven experience managing a caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge across sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and keep transactions progressing without delay
