Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Stores, Planning and other operational functions where required. Develop team capability through coaching, training and performance management. Manage absence, conduct, performance and other day-to-day people-management responsibilities. Promote a positive, accountable and performance-driven working environment. Support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, processes and efficiency. Provide clear reporting on production performance, issues and departmental requirements.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE We are looking for an experienced manufacturing or production leader with a strong practical understanding of engineering and assembly-based environments. The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate: Proven management or senior supervisory experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong people-management and leadership capability. Experience managing production teams within a busy manufacturing operation.
