Are you a skilled CNC Milling Programmer with a passion for precision engineering? We are working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company based in Redditch who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Milling Programmer with strong CAD/CAM skills to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level in a high-specification environment producing bespoke parts for the aerospace, defence, motorsport, and prototyping sectors.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Programming, setting, and operating 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Creating and editing offline programs using CADCAM software ideally ESPRIT, though training can be provided for the right candidate with experience in Hypermill, EdgeCAM, or similar
- Setting and operating machinery
- Working from complex engineering drawings to produce components from both metal and plastic
- Designing fixtures and tooling for bespoke, small-batch, or prototype production
- Conducting self-inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges
- Collaborating with the wider engineering team to reduce cycle times and improve process efficiency
- Supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring production quality meets the highest standards
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in multi-axis CNC milling
- Offline programming experience using CAD/CAM software (ESPRIT ideal, others welcome)
- Confident in working with Fanuc controls
- Background in precision engineering sectors such as aerospace, defence, or motorsport
- Capable of interpreting technical drawings and producing high-precision components
- A proactive and quality-driven mindset with good problem-solving skills
