About the Role
Our client is a leading sheet-metal fabrication specialist working on high-quality, precision sheet-metal products for varied industrial applications. They are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their workshop team, contributing to fabrication, assembly, and finishing of high-spec metal components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sheet-metal fabrication tasks including cutting, bending, folding, and forming components using guillotines, press brakes, and folding machines.
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings/technical specifications to ensure accurate component production.
- Operate sheet-metal machinery safely and efficiently, including guillotine, press brake, fold, shearing, and other workshop equipment.
- Carry out assembly, fitting, finishing and quality inspections of fabricated components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic servicing on equipment and tools to maintain production readiness.
- Work to achieve daily and weekly production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to support production flow and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all site Health and Safety regulations.
