  • Work from technical drawings, BOMs, CAD models and manufacturing instructions.
  • Perform initial testing, adjustments, and calibration of assembled systems in workshop environment.
  • Support on‑site commissioning, installation, and servicing at customer locations (UK & overseas) — typically trips of up to 7 days.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults or issues encountered in service and implement solutions or repairs.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality teams to assess changes and improvements.
  • Maintain documentation and records of build processes, parts, calibration and service reports.
  • Apply safe working practices and maintain compliance with all health & safety and quality standards.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self‑motivated and able to manage tasks under minimal supervision.

  • Experience in welding systems, industrial fabrication or custom machinery.
  • Understanding of electrical / mechatronic integration (i.e. working with machines that integrate mechanics + electronics).
  • Experience in quality systems (ISO, manufacturing QA).
  • Previous experience in customer‑facing service or commissioning roles.
  • Familiarity with calibration, alignment, tolerance measurement.
