We are currently looking for a Sr. Production Assembler, 1st Shift, Monday through Friday. Carpentry experience building cabinets, stairs, door units, and/or tables preferred… and/or experience installing door units or machine operating in a production shop
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble custom door units
- Operate several different saws to cut material, power tools for special door prep, and may be required to operate a CNC machine or other automated machinery.
- Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly
- Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality
- Apply special hardware, such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks and panic hardware
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years’ related experience
- Capable of reading a tape measure
- Experience in using hand tools, pneumatic staple gun, and other electric tools when necessary.
- Experience with specialized carpentry tools (Plus)
Starting Pay based on Experience: $20 – $24/HR
