Make a meaningful difference, every single day. We are looking for compassionate and reliable carers to support a lady with autism and learning difficulties to live a full and independent life. This is a rewarding role, helping someone maintain her routine, enjoy her interests, and stay connected to her community. You’ll be supporting her to enjoy everyday activities such as swimming, walks, coffee shops, art, animals, and trips out, as well as providing consistent support at home. This is a single-handed package, so you will be working independently while being supported by a wider team. The role includes oversight of personal care, while encouraging independence and ensuring safety and wellbeing.

The Role

  • 24-hour care package
  • Day shifts: 9am – 5pm
  • Sleeping nights: 5pm – 9am
  • Multiple positions available to cover all shifts
  • Supporting one individual in their own home and out in the community

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting individuals with autism and learning difficulties is preferred
  • The right person matters most – compassionate, reliable, and willing to learn, with good knowledge of the local Penzance area
  • Driver required due to community-based activities
  • Female applicants only (due to the needs of the individual)
