HGV Driver Alexanders Timber Design is a leading Timber Frame and Roof Truss manufacturer for the house building sector and one of the key business units of Glennon Brothers who are a leading timber processor in the UK & Ireland with a strong growth story.

We are a growing and expanding business with further ambitious growth ahead of us.

As a leader in the Green Tech industry our bespoke facility in Irvine is equipped with a manufacturing line that has state-of-the-art technology.

Job Description Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the HGV Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of Timber Frame and Roof Trusses, ensuring timely deliveries to site.

The HGV Driver will be responsible for ensuring all items are secured properly for transport, while adhering to all road safety regulations. 39 hours per week, 5 days per week, usually between subject to business change for delivery of items.

Skills Profile Proven experience as an HGV Driver or in a similar role is essential.

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation.

Familiarity with local roads and routes is advantageous.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction is essential.
