A well-established food manufacturing business is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator to support safe working practices across a busy production facility. The Role
Reporting into the HS&E Manager, you will support the delivery of health, safety and environmental standards across site, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting site audits and safety inspections
- Supporting risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Assisting with accident, incident and near-miss investigations
- Supporting ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety training
- Monitoring and reporting HS&E performance data
- Promoting a positive health & safety culture across the business
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or willing to work towards)
- Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- A proactive and organised approach
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business
