Alexander Steele Recruitment has partnered with an award-winning food business supplying all major UK retailers and foodservice customers with both branded and own-label products. They are urgently looking for a dynamic and driven National Account Manager to join their Sales team and take ownership of a major retail account, helping them to expand their presence and grow customer partnerships. On Offer * Basic salary will be circa £50K to £70K * Discretionary & EOT Bonus * Matched pension contributions (up to 5%) * Healthcare & life cover * Work from home on Fridays * 23 days holiday (increasing with service) What You’ll Do * Manage and grow sales across new and existing accounts * Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, Product Development & Merchandising * Identify and secure new business opportunities * Work closely with Procurement, Category Insight, and Marketing to deliver best-in-class customer presentations and market insights * Oversee stock levels and contract balances, ensuring smooth supply and reporting Candidate Requirements * 2:1 degree (or above) in a relevant business discipline * Minimum 3 years’ experience managing UK Retailers (FMCG or food industry preferred) * Proven ability to win new business and manage accounts hands-on * Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills * Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially driven If you’re tenacious, ambitious, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced FMCG environment, we’d love to hear from you
