Monday - Friday (9am - 5.30pm)

Location: Chatham, Kent

Salary: Β£40,000 - Β£45,000

Alexander Steele are delighted to be supporting an FMCG manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimal production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to breakdowns and complete fault-finding activities.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Utilise the CMMS system to manage work orders, maintenance records, and spare parts.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
