We are seeking an experienced, hands-on and driven Production Manager to join our growing world food manufacturing operation. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, food safety and on-time delivery across our product range. Our factory produces a variety of ambient products and we are looking for someone who is experienced in a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of production operations, ensuring output targets, quality standards and food safety requirements are consistently achieved.
- Lead, manage and develop production teams, including supervisors and operatives, driving a high-performance culture.
- Manage attendance, absence, performance and conduct in line with company policies and procedures.
- Identify training needs, implement development plans and ensure all staff are fully trained and competent.
- Plan, organise and optimise production schedules to meet customer demand and operational efficiency targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring accountability across production teams.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, BRC and Health & Safety standards at all times.
