Are you a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment? We’re looking for a proactive Procurement Manager to take ownership of sourcing strategies across a diverse range of ingredients and raw materials, while leading and developing a small team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in shaping procurement direction, building supplier partnerships, and ensuring consistent supply to support business growth.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading sourcing activities across key ingredient and raw material categories, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency and continuity of supply
- Monitoring market trends and commodity movements, providing insight to support business decisions
- Managing supplier relationships, driving performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Overseeing tender processes, negotiating contracts, and implementing supplier agreements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development and business initiatives
- Aligning local procurement activity with wider group strategies and contributing to strategic projects
- Developing and executing category strategies, balancing both local and global requirements
- Supporting and mentoring a direct report, fostering development and performance
- Managing budgets and delivering against financial targets and KPIs
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in procurement within a food or ingredients-based environment
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels including senior stakeholders
- Organised and self-sufficient, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercial awareness, with a solid understanding of financial metrics
- Familiarity with sourcing processes, trade terms, and supply chain principles
- Previous team leadership experience is advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline is desirable
