Engineering Manager Alexander Steele is working exclusively with a global food manufacturing business to recruit an Engineer Manager for their site in Buckinghamshire. This is a pivotal leadership role ensuring the reliability of plant equipment and infrastructure while promoting a zero-incident culture in line with regulatory standards and company policy. The role holder will aim to drive efficiencies in both work processes and capital projects. What’s on Offer: * Paying £70,000 + 10% discretionary bonus * 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays * 7.5% pension * Private health care * Life assurance x2 base salary * Monday – Friday (days) Responsibilities: * Oversee the maintenance of plant, buildings, and services to minimise downtime and stay within budget. * Develop a proactive maintenance schedule and ensure all service records are completed and up to date. * Manage engineering budgets, including spare parts, CAPEX, and external contractors. * Lead the HSE agenda for the site * Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and energy efficiency. Background Experience: * 8+ years of experience in food manufacturing, including 3 years in a managerial role * Have strong proficiency in data processing tools like SAP and Excel * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * NEBOSH Certification (desirable) OR experience overseeing HSE initiatives * Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
