A well-established food manufacturing business in East Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Production Team Leader to join their day shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams within a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment and be confident driving performance, maintaining standards and supporting day-to-day production operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead production teams – Supervise and support operatives on shift, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Drive performance – Monitor output, address issues in real-time and ensure KPIs around efficiency, waste and downtime are consistently met.
- Maintain quality & food safety – Ensure all products meet required quality standards and that food safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Health & Safety compliance – Promote a strong safety culture on shift, ensuring all processes and policies are adhered to.
- Shift coordination – Allocate labour effectively, manage workflow and ensure smooth running of production lines.
