A growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to support high-performing production operations at their state-of-the-art facility near Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious manufacturing professional looking to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
On Offer:
- Salary will be circa £45,000 - £50,000 doe
- Monday - Friday: 6am - 3pm
- Pension
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Plan, allocate, and manage manpower effectively across all production lines.
- Technical and Audit accountability and full knowledge of BRCGS audit protocol.
- Hands on and sleeves up approach, this is not a sit behind a desk role and 80% of the shift is factory floor based.
- Coordinate with engineering and QA to minimise downtime and maintain product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, waste reduction, and resource utilisation.
- Enforce food safety, GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and general safety standards.
- Conduct routine safety checks and ensure timely corrective actions.
Candidate requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Food manufacturing environment, in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in production reporting, team leadership, and manpower management.
- Solid understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership capability.
