ALEXANDER STEELE are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an Engineer to join their site-based engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within food or FMCG manufacturing, with strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on a range of automated machinery
- Support continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance
- Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using the site CMMS
- Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment
- Work closely with production teams to support site performance and uptime
On Offer:
- £45,000 annual salary
- 4 on 4 off (4 day shift, 4 night shift rotating)
- Pension etc.
