A food business in Derbyshire is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team and has experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in managing a busy warehouse and dispatch operation.
  • Develop and maintain an effective team structure to ensure staff skills and knowledge meet expected standards.
  • Ensure KPIs are consistently achieved and reported weekly to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Manage GMP, health and safety, and risk assessments as part of day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare a monthly staff rota to ensure appropriate manning and staffing levels.
  • Lead daily team meetings as required to communicate objectives and updates.
  • Develop a training matrix and SMART plan for staff, ensuring all training progress is monitored effectively.
  • Inspire and motivate warehouse operatives to meet operational targets.

  • 5 out of 7 days shift pattern - shifts are 2pm-11pm during the week, 12-9pm weekends (1 Sunday every two weeks, and you get the day back).
